Consumer Critiques
I've cooked 1 brown and 2 white rice batches and all have come out rather very good. I've been following the rice package directions for the quantity of water instead of employing the lines inside the cooker which are a bit difficult to read without really good light. I even attempted cooking only 1 scoop of rice, even thought they claim a minimum of 2, and it came out best. As with most rice cookers their measuring "cup" or scoop is in fact 3/four of a standard measuring cup.
I often consume brown rice which takes long time to cook and needs supervision. I bought Aroma to save time and to have a fantastic rice. The rice cooker performs wonderful, despite the fact that I figured out that a great deal more water is required for brown rice (I add 25% a great deal more water than is advised). For rice medley which has some tricky pieces I use this proportion: two cups of rice I fill with the water up to line 3 this is the cup that comes with the cooker, and the lines are inside the cooker to indicate how significantly water is necessary). Rice comes delicious, not mushy.
I wish the rice cooker could be smaller sized, but it looks great and instructions are clear.
